Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo detailed plans for future lands, attractions and adventures that will be delighting Disney guests for years to come, at the first D23 Expo. Most notable among the announcements were the confirmation of an all-new Star Tours attraction and the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

“Storytelling is the DNA of Disney dreams and we’re always exploring new ways to tell new stories in new places,” Rasulo told a crowd at the Anaheim Convention Center in California before taking them on a “behind-the-magic” tour of their favorite Disney destinations.

Avocados came to the U.S. from Mexico in the 1800′s, and today San Diego County in Southern California is known as the avocado capital of the world. There are many types of avocados, but the Hass is the most popular and valued for it’s creamy, but not wet, flesh. The larger, more moist, smoother skinned, and greener (even when ripe) Florida avocado is also popular in many stores.

Some people do not like them, but if you get used to them they are also very nice to eat. They are not as fatty or as creamy as the more popular Hass variety, but they are cheaper and sometimes a good value. I prefer the Hass myself, but don’t rob yourself of the experience of enjoying the Florida variety. As stated, their lower fat content is a plus for those who love avocados but want to cut down on the calories a bit.
