Next to the commercial yummi-li-cious Nick Lachey did for the Axe, this one is becoming close to my all time favourite. And, the *choco man* is also giving my long standing fixation on the energizer bunny a run for its money.
Yes…. I dig their commercials and I dig how far their marketing concept has taken the brand. They’ve successfully taken a relatively mediocre product into the same heights as those spam gurus we see in our mailboxes that promises men they’ll get laid every day if they just follow *three simple steps*.
Still, I wouldn’t mind taking a bite of the sweet stuff. I am buying in on the whole hype that women get taken in by a suggestion that a man can be totally irresistible because of how he smells to a point that actions of lust become so uncontrollable.
After suggesting to my husband that he buys his own Axe for me to salivate on, he decided that he had even a better idea.
*and this is where the seriously bizzare stuff starts*
He’s decided to invest his hard earned cash *$3.95 big spender he is* on a bottle of Flame Cologne.

Oh, please…. he’s so lucky I found him or he would still be out there unleashing his *secret weapon* to unsuspecting females.
THIS is almost as BAD as Mr. Bacon Pant’s idea of why women should wear *bacon perfume*.

I think that chocolate man advert is really creepy, the man has such a crazy expression. It could put me off chocolate for ever.
I think I can see why he is walking around with a perpetual smile on. I had heard about this product but had never seen the commercial.
I hate it when that chocolate man advert comes on the television, it makes me feel ill. I think it must be the worst advert ever.
chocolate man… hmmm…. you ladies should try some of that chocolate body paint on your hubbies, trust me, it’s fun
Stav, I don’t like chocolate and chocolate body paint just makes me think of lots of laundry!! The chocolate man is scary!
I read somewhere that when different scents were tested on men, they liked pumpkin and lavendar best. Were these unuual guys guys or does anyone else agree?
Lindsey I don’t know the answer to your question, but nothing on earth will make me wear lavender scent, I don’t care if men like it or not.
I actually saw the commercial today, and I agree with those who said it was creepy. He actually takes pieces off himself and hands them to people. The shampoo commercials are mildly amusing, but this almost put me off chocolate.
I agree the advert above is a bit creepy.. we have the same chocy bloke in the UK but for a different name deodorant.. (probably the same stuff in different packaging) but the ad is less creepy.. no hand in the box, no crumbling nose into ice cream etc… it is played more for laughs..
My son saw the UK version of the advert and found it frightening because of his expression and because they broke bits off him. My son is not a very young child but it still bothered him.
