Yes, I think I would be more likely to use something like this for finding more friends who share common interests/actvities, etc. than for romance. I need to have seen someone in a concrete context (work, through friends, etc.)before I will consider meeting him for a date.

I so wish that when I was dating that I had had this option. I mean it would have just opened up so many other avenues of meeting people.
