“Our list points to the broader trends we’re seeing, showing the ways in which these shifts will manifest in our everyday lives,” says Ann Mack, director of trendspotting at JWT.
Among these shifts, the recession will make the biggest impact, says Mack. “A lot of what to watch in 2009 relates to consumers’ adaptation to the economic situation, from ‘affordable nutrition’ to ‘more under one roof,’” notes Mack.

I think it will take a while for me to go through the list!
Who is “Gerard Butler”?
I can see that I have some researching to do to understand all of the references on this list. One entry that needs no explanation at all: Prince William Wedding Watch! I will definitely be paying attention: I do so love a Royal Wedding!
I didn’t know that Wills had proposed to anyone. Who is the lucky lady?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there could be a royal wedding this spring?
It would be the perfect event to give the world a break from all the wars and economic woes.
Let’s all cross our fingers!
to be quite honest, I clicked on this article ecitedly but could not quite understand half of the list…maybe living in a different country is the problem…
Sage, I don’t think he has proposed (as far as the public are aware) but one or two people have predictd a wedding for him and Kate Middleton this year. It would be nice to have some good news for a change.
can’t see William marrying this year.
even if he proposes tomorrow, the logistics of the wedding of the heir to the throne is likely to take quite a while to organise..
getting every single head of state into the country at the same time for a start… along with all the security issues that would cause..
