My niece loved the groovy girls dolls when she was younger, and they still have a special place in her bedroom.
I am glad to see that dolls are being more representative of colour and culture than just the white Barbie dolls of the past. This Christmas two of my nieces are receiving beautiful ballerina dolls who are black. I want them to have dolls of every race to let them know that this world is full of beautiful women!
I agree that it is nice to have wider choice when it comes to the colour of dolls. My niece has several black dolls but her favourite is a Chinese daby doll.
I love these and I’m glad to see them as well. They are beautiful and fun dolls I’d love to have in my own collection.
my young neices loved Bratz dolls, precisely because they came in all colours and shapes and sizes… These dolls are lovely, and I’ve got another baby relative who will soon be playing with them
