I still don’t know what I feel about stuff like this. On one hand, hey, it’s their bodies and they can do as they please. On the other, I find it kinda sad that we’re so obsessed with appearance that it’s not really acceptable to leave our bodies in natural post-pregnancy conditions.

What I find a little harder to accept and a lot easier to hide are the occasional grey hairs that creep up on you far too soon. I used to think that only old people got grey hair but sadly I was wrong.

I is hard to accept your changed body after pregnancy but I think the face of the baby does act as a big big morale booster…after all it is for her/him that you went thru all the pain…

I agree with you justontime. A lot how one feels has to do with accepting ourselves the way we are. When I look at my not as flat belly all I have to do is look at my little babies and realize it is all worth it.

EviesEarth, I noticed that after my third (and last) too. It takes a while to accept changes and to realise that you will not look exactly as you did pre children.

I really noticed my body change after having my 3rd baby. It can be hard at times to accept that ones body does change as we change also.

I agree with a lot of the survey results also. Especially the one about getting back your stomach area to pre-pregnancy.

The survey results don’t really surprise me. Women who have recently had a baby are entering a different phase of their life, nothing will be as it was before. Things that were important before such as make up do not have such a high priority any more.
