I haven't heard of too women dealing with active cysts, during pregnancy. In most women, ovaries respond to the hormonal changes brought on with pregnancy by shutting down or changing what they produce. If they didn't, birth control pills couldn't work. It also explains why birth control pills don't work for some women! Is the author, Peter Hutch, female?
