Vital Savings by Aetna

Who would have thought?

Just a little bit over two years ago, I was resisting the call of being a *blogger*…. kicking and screaming, and always looking for excuses to get out of going to dinner at John Chow’s house.

Much that I love the man and his wife, I just couldn’t stop getting glazey eyed listening to all that dinner talk about making money on the internet and creating multi-income streams. Adsense *what*? Didn’t make any sense to me.

Dinner was always followed by a trip to *the* computer room to talk about more blogging ideas….. and John asking for the hundredth time if I’d read the book he gave me on adsense for dummies. Not my kind of fun night out regardless of how much of an awesome cook Sarah is.

Somewhere along the way, I cracked open the book, opened my first blog on Blogspot and the rest is history in the making.

As The Diva Network celebrates its 2nd birthday, here’s love back to some very special people who made all of this possible.

1. John Chow – I will eventually return the book. Thank you for introducing me to my husband and to blogging. I really appreciate the three-times-a-day *move to wordpress* kick-in-the-ass that made the Imaginary Diva brand where it is today. We might still yet name our first born son after you.

2. Vanessa, Brandon and all the wonderful tech support folks at InMotion Hosting – I can’t stop thanking the gods for guiding me to their doorstep. They restored my faith in web hosting services after a very crappy experience with an unnamed hosting company *bluefur – you mean they call that service – bluefur*. In Motion Hosting helped me move to my own server with 24 hour technical support and exercised a good dose of patience when assisting me on trivial matters.

3. Wordpress, Lester Chan’s plug-ins, and Andy Bailey for CommentLuv – The best things in life really are free.

4. Diva Guest Writers and Contributors – Danine Manette, Delusions of Sanity, Dr. Annie Dennison, French Touch Image, Gramps Place, Herbal Cocktails, Marzie, Outfit Inspirations, Retro Food, Romantic Planet, ZombieSnack, Carrie and writers from Inb0x. Thank you for lending your ideas and expertise in matters *diva* related.

5. To our loyal readers ….. We wouldn’t be here today without you. Stay tuned because the best is yet to come. As always, thank you for dropping by The Diva Network and don’t forget to subscribe to our free newsletter.
