If you have brown eyes, and you are wondering about colors that may enhance or perfectly suit it, do not lose yourself in a wrinkle of frustration. Many of your favorite eyeshadow colors can actually match your pretty brown eyes. Basic hues such as earth colors in the browns, bronzes, golds, mochas, taupes and spices families will definitely enhance your features. But if you feel like wearing something to perk up your eyes with a contrasting effect, you may use light pink or peach or purple or indigo.
The colors you use will greatly depend on your personality, style, and of course, the occasion. Eyeliners, in any color of brown or black will also highlight your eyes, from subtle contour to heavier contour. Of course, mascaras and curlers will always finish the trick.
Subtle Daytime Makeup
If you always go to the office and would like to perk up your eyes with simple day make up, and be always on your best look, here are some shades and combinations that you can use to enhance you pretty brown eyes to the limit. As a base for your face, use a matte foundation that will simply match and blend with your skin tone. And to start with your eye makeup, use a neutral shade as a base. Then pick a subtle color to apply in the area above your upper eyelids to your creaseline, to highlight your eyes and brighten it up. If in the rose family, choose peach or light pink, or if in the brown family, bronze or caramel. Then use a light brown eyeliner to contour your upper eyelids, and apply mascara once to your curled lashes. Doing this will brighten and open your eyes. Add a light peach flush to your cheeks, and some lip gloss or light lip color, then you’re off to go.
Darker/Bolder/Smokey Shades for the Nightime
During the nightime, your pretty brown eyes must be extra sultry and dramatic. Think Salma Hayek, and you’ll have an idea. For nighttime make-up, you may use a heavier foundation that will still blend with your skin tone. For your dramatic eyes, start with applying a shimmery neutral shade for a base to make the eyes shine. Afterwhich, pick a darker hue, like mocha or dark purple to highlight your creaseline. Blend it with the earlier neutral shade and line the whole of your eyes, upper and lower lids, with black eyeliner. Apply mascara twice or thrice to make your lashes long and thick. Add a sultry cheeck tint, like apricot or peach. And use a minimally colored lip color since the drama should focus in your eyes.
If you really like your eyes to be noticed and be the object of envy for many, enhance it and highlight it as much as you can. Using these eye makeup for brown eyes tips , you are surely bound to love your face. So just smile, and let your brown eyes say it all.

I find that they change colors to different browns depending on what type of eye makeup I wear.
Do you find that also? I know when I use a lot of silver, my eyes seem to be a little bit more lighter.
My eyes are hazel and they seem to change with the colors I wear also. I like to wear browns and khaki colors, they make my eyes look greener. Purples make them look more hazel brown. I always get compliments if I wear purples or browns.
