How can we protect our skin from the damage today that can affect us tomorrow?
And even a better question is - how can we stop wasting our hard earned money trying to determine if the products we try will work on our skin? My cabinets are filled with junk, the final resting place of products once used but *never worked*. Not only am I running out of landfill space….. but it would be so nice if I didn’t have to also pay for them!
This is why I’ve decided to check out Murad skin care solutions.
It is too good of a deal that it’s not worth the miss! Every skin care product you order through them has a 60 day money back guarantee and they offer free shipping on all orders over $65. If that is not exciting enough, I get to choose three free samples from their product line to try….. for free. I just *love* it! I am like a kid in a candy store and I just can’t stop wanting to get a sample of everything.
So, what type of skin care problems have you experienced lately? Because at Murad, you can find almost anything to make your skin feel a lot better. Their products have been recipients of more than a few beauty honors and awards from top industry experts and editors such as Allure’s Best of Beauty Award, Shape Magazine’s Shape of Beauty Award, and Self’s Health of Beauty Award.
Acne is the most common skin disease, affecting almost 17 million people in the US alone. Murad’s acne skin care collection promises to tone, treat and hydrate your skin.
“Murad Acne Skin Care products address ALL of the factors of acne and skin breakouts, reducing cell build-up, excess oil and inflammation. Every product contains the three key ingredients in the Murad recipe, hydrating agents, anti-inflammatories, and antioxidants, along with specific acne-fighters, which work together to provide the best environment for achieving optimal skin health.” Take advantage of Murad’s Clearifying Cleanser Free Trial Offer before it expires on April 23, 2008.
Cellulite affects about 90% of women, regardless of weight or age. It is unevitable that one of these days you’ll find stubbord, uneven and lumpy skin on your stomach, thighs, hips, and butt.
It has always been thought the weight gain is the main culprit behind this beauty problem, however, Dr. Murad’s research shows that cellulite is caused by dehydrated and damaged skin. “My research shows that if we are to repair cellulite and stretch marks, we need to focus on repairing the skin, not on burning fat. By simply getting key hydrating, cell-fortifying nutrients to our skin we can rebuild, re-hydrate, and revitalize our skin, forcing stubborn fat cells back invisibly below the surface – and keeping them there. ”
Murad’s Cellulite Solution Program strengthens skin cells and connective tissue - the true causes of cellulite. It is a safe and effective treatment that guarantees result in eight weeks or your money back. That leaves you just enough time to hit the stores to pick out your new *summer bikini* to go with your new sexy body!
Another popular skin care product at Murad is Resurgence. It is a 3 step regimen formulated exclusively to help revitalize and rebuild hormonally aging skin.
Studies show women in their late 20s leading up to menopause produce only limited quantities of estrogen, an essential hormone that keeps the skin soft and firm by encouraging collagen production. In the first five years after menopause, skin will lose 30% of its collagen and this can cause wrinkling and sagging with the possibility of facial hair and acne breakouts.
*Definitely not something I am not looking forward to*
Resurgence helps restore lost moisture, accelerate healthy cell turnover, increase firmness and elasticity-and even help reduce hormonal acne. This product is so popular that even the 30-day introductory kit is out of stock until April 21st. You will need to reserve yours as soon as possible in order to get the $50 Glow Bonus pack for free with your order - Sheer Lustre Day Moisture SPF 15, Acne Spot Treatment, Renewing Eye Cream, and Dr. Murad’s Skin Health Guide.

Damage Proof Your Beautiful Skin At Any Age…
Skin damage can be caused by so many factors. Acne, dry skin, inflammation and cellulite are just some of the common problems women face on a daily basis.
How can we protect our skin from the damage today that can affect us tomorrow?
And even a bet…
You know, it is very important to take care of your skin! I never really thought about it all when I was younger, but I have very fair skin, and I used to go out to try to get a tan and only ever succeeded in getting burnt! But the burn did turn into a tan, so that was ok. But there were times that I got burnt very severely and actually had to go to the doctor! I was told that I should only go out in the sun when absolutely necessary, and then wear the strongest sunblock there is. I actually became physically sick from it, with a fever and nausea to boot! On top of that, I have a lot of freckles on my body that stayed behind afterward. I sometimes wonder if that is how some people get skin cancer. Anyway, you really have to protect your skin, bottom line.
I try not to worry about that stuff to much but thanks for letting me know
I think that a skin product that offers a money back guarantee is definitely worth trying!
This sounds like a good product and I want to start taking better care of my skin, so it’s very timely, too.
I to need to start taking care of my skin better. Other than a daily washing I don’t do much else. I agree though a money back guarentee is a nice plus.
I didn’t even realize that cellulite came from dehydrated skin. When I think of the lumps, I think of greasy fat! (Sorry!) So maybe I do have to take a different approach to it.
As far as I know, cellulite is the appearance of the normal layer of fat beneath the skin as it pushes between connective tissues.
I can see how dehydration might make it more pronounced and creams usually serve to soften the appearance of the skin’s surface through moisturizing.
Trick-r-treat, parents should also try to encourage their children to wear protection because that is the only way that they’ll stick to protecting their skin when they grow older.
I am lucky that I am naturally tanned, but even I have to wear SPF lotion so that I don’t risk getting any form of skin cancer in the future.
Jenny, you are so very *lucky* that you don’t have to worry about skin care….
I’ve heard about women like you
Katharina, money back guarantees are usually fantastic. So if it works, then it was well worth it…. and if it doesn’t, well just return. You can spend your money again on other products instead of being stuck with it.
My husband was just telling me the other day that my beauty product landfill is beginning to smell. So, I guess I need to start chucking some stuff out!
Tater03, you will need at least a moisturizer to prevent flaky skin anytime of the year.
I agree that moisturizer is good at any time of year. And the time to start is long before you might show signs of needing it… at least in my opinion.
When everything starts going downhill, it seems like it would be a lot more difficult to “fix.”
Trick-r-treat, me too!
I’ve always thought the cellulite’s main culprit is your diet and the fatty foods that you eat!
But then, we believe in so many beauty and health myths, it’s hard to remember which came from a reliable source.
SageMother, you know more than I do about this topic….
Trick-r-treat,
The fact that a condition is widespread and difficult to remove, indicates that someone is making money from a natural condition. Just look at the products devoted to this sort of fat distribution.
It is normal for fat to dimple beneath the skin in many women. It is the effect of genetics and being female. Women are alarmed when they see this dimpling as it usually appears AFTER one has had children or reaches a certain age and the cosmetics and skin care industry thrives on keeping some of these alarms going.
Gravity and being female probably are probably the greatest contributions to the dimpled appearance. Moisturizing helps, but at some point it is best to accept these little inconveniences that are evidence of our being female.
Katharina, that is why it is so important to work with what we have today because what we do to our skin can make it look really ugly in the future.
Even today, I wish I took better care of my skin when I was a teenager. But then, I don’t think I would have listened to anyone…..
Oh, I’ve often thought that, too… when I was a teen, it was like “wrinkles? That’s for OLD people, I don’t need to worry about that NOW!” so like you said, I wouldn’t have listened to anyone either.
It would have been like “Oh, come ON, I’m only 18!” But wow did those years go by rapidly!
SageMother, most of the time it is very hard to give in to what mother nature has intended for us. More and more, women are fighting their hardest in making sure that they delay the after effects. Personally, I don’t know anyone who is not too concerned about having cellulite.
Katharina, the sad things is…. my mother has better skin than I do and she is turning 70 years old this year!
My sister took after her skin type and I’m envious as hell.
My mother has always has great skin, too… I wonder why some things can be passed down to daughters and others can’t? That would be a great legacy but maybe it isn’t to be.
That said, I don’t have the big skin problems yet, so maybe it’s premature and I’ll be lucky, too.
If you want to get a little prediction of your possibilities in the skin and health areas, take a look at the women on both sides of your families, and the branches. One “X” chromosome comes from each side.
Not all conditions can be evaluated through this little exercise, but it can give you an overview of some of the health and wellness concerns you might have.
Katharina, she did pass on the gene of *beautiful* skin to one of my younger sisters. I can’t believe she even got the bone straight hair from my mom and I ended up with dad’s skin and dad’s wavy hair.
There’s just no justice in this world
SageMother, as I was just mentioning to Katharina, I get my skin from my dad’s branch of the family…. and I’ve always been so envious of my sister’s skin, which she gets from my mother.
