I also never thought I’d actually be talking about two things that I told myself never to write about - religion and just plain outright malicious gossip.
So here goes….
This morning when I opened my email box, a press release popped up about Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Garner. You’re probably wondering what these four divas had in common …. but if the name Tom Cruise comes to mind, then you would be right.
The love doctors over at the Church of Scientology decided to help out Tom Cruise who was *down on his luck* with women after his break up with Penelope Cruz.
According to Mark Headley, an ex-scientologist *aren’t they all*, told News of the World that a bogus casting call for an upcoming Tom Cruise movie had scientology actresses like Erica Christensen, Erica Howard, and Sofia Milos auditioning for a leading lady role that never really existed.
Since Jennifer Garner started dating Ben Affleck and Jessica Alba didn’t bite on the casting call, it was down to Scarlett and Katie….. Little did Scarlett know, that this would have meant the end of *pushing the limits of her roles* if she did ever get the most coveted real life role of Mrs. Cruise.
Oh, what people will say when it comes to getting their 5 minutes of fame!
I must say that this has been the best laugh I’ve had for days. I hope it gave you a good chuckle as well.

I laughed too, when I read it! I get the impression that people think they can say anything about him and it will be believed by virtue of his fanaticism w/ the Scientology (half of which I’m not sure I believe because it’s all just beyond bizarre!).
I have to admit I wonder how long he and Katie will last.

I think people are publishing thinks about him to get a rise out of people…I do that too on my site sometimes…but that story was way too much for me. I think maybe he needs to take the spaceship and leave earth!!

Oh, I think those two are a serious match in scientology heaven.
I think it’s okay to see their always smiling faces on the tabloids but if I had to be around it every single day of the year, I’d probably *puke*

Yes, now that they have that new book out on Tom Cruise it seems to have only gotten worse. I will say the religions is a little out there but then again that is probably because I don’t know a lot about it.
I bet Tom runs the house and poor Katie doesn’t have a say over much of anything, which is why he loves her so very much.
I bet he could never gain that sort of control over Nicole Kidman!
I’ll bet since he is a bit older than her, she looks up to him as a father or older brother figure and just accepts, without question, everything he says.
Didn’t you see that article about the security system he was putting in? It was so Katie couldn’t have any control at all!! How bad is that?

Tater03, I don’t know much about scientology either because it is not a religion I practice.
But just like in every religion, you will find the extremist…. and Tom Cruise will never be able to live it up.

SageMother, Katie Holmes has put her career for her family and that is a wonderful choice.
However, not all of Hollywood A-listers think the same way, including Nicole Kidman. Look how long it took her to decide to start her own *real* family!
Trick-r-treat, I think there is a lot of teen adoration there.
I mean, who didn’t have the biggest crush on Tom Cruise when they were younger. I had a serious thing for him when I was growing up.
I think Katie had the same infatuation too and she’s a follower. This is probably why their relationship is working so well. You can’t have both leaders in a relationship or else you’ll both be going different directions.
