The Attitude:
Being a diva doesn’t start with the right shoes, or the perfect makeup. It really starts inside. Walking around head down and all hunched over will definitely not win you diva status. To be a diva you must think like a diva. That means being proud of the woman you are, holding your head up high, your shoulders straight, and wearing a “you wish you were me” smile. The key to being a diva is playing the part, so walk, talk, and act like you’re the VIP you know you can be. Strike a pose whenever you can. People can’t help but look at a hot woman as she pumps gas or applies her to die for red lipstick.
The Hair:
Oh the wonderful way diva’s wear their gorgeous hair. Ever see a diva with hair that is anything other than fabulous? I didn’t think so. Once you perfect what’s inside your head move on to what is outside. Diva hair is a little puffy but not out of control, a little shiny, but not greasy, and a little styled but not molded. What does that mean for you? It means use some volumizing shampoo if your hair is limp. If it’s frizzy gets some control but don’t weight it down. You want hair that bounces when you walk and makes others stare when you talk. Taking care of your hair is a must since that natural shine doesn’t always come easily. Whether you have cascading locks or poker straight tresses, your goal is to have it looking diva.licious all the time.
The Face:
Women in search of diva status often look to makeup to help pave their way. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the best route. Sure, apply that sexy eye liner and put on that dare to pout lip gloss, but don’t overdo it. Too much makeup can take you from Hollywood honey to rodeo clown in the matter of seconds. Keep your makeup up natural and you’ll be one step closer to being that diva of your dreams. You’ll also want to make sure you keep up with normal hygiene maintenance. That means keeping your eyebrows waxed, your teeth pearly white, and your face smooth and blemish free.
The Clothes:
Being a diva requires you to have a fabulous closet. From velour sweat suit to dazzling evening gowns, your clothes ship be in tip top shape to bring out your beauty. A diva never rocks ripped threads unless he paid for them to come that way. The only time she wears sneakers is when they match her sexy athletic wear or she’s going for a run to keep that body in diva shape. When buying close, look for brands like Baby Phat to get the form hugging clothing that scream sexy yet classy. While it’s important to get clothes that hug your hips and accentuate your breast, you want to be careful that you don’t look trashy. A Diva is a class act woman, not a trashy lady of the night.
The Accessories:
You absolutely must accessorize. Going out sans the accessories is like going out naked. Never leave home without a fabulous bag (you will need something to carry your makeup, your cell phone, and other essentials) and some great jewelry. Always wear at least one big piece like a bangle bracelet or some dangling earring but never wear a ton of over sized jewelry. Keep it fabulous by pairing big pieces with classics like diamond earrings or a simple gold chain and precious pendent.
