Sounds familiar? The truth is, I’m not the only one who thinks a time away from this crazy north american weather and lifestyle is in order. Millions of Americans and Canadians will be flocking the island of Maui this year by any means possible - cruise, air, and island ferry. Known for its Ho`okipa (pronounced hoh-oh-KEE-pah), Maui’s concept of hospitality offers just about anything from relaxation, adventurous excursions and exotic nightlife. Maui No-Ka Oi, as the islanders would say, means Maui is the best.
Most Maui travel guides will tell you that it all begins with the sun. Travellers to the island will agree that there is nothing much more spectacular than a Maui’s sunrise. For me, sunrise is a beautiful time but as the sun sets on Maui, it is even a much more enrapturing experience.
Just imagine yourself on board the luxurious catamaran “The Impeccable Pride of Maui”, enjoying the company of new found friends while sipping Mai Tai and watching the panoramic views of Maui’s coastline from its sprawling upper deck. In the background you hear the music of internationally renowned guitar virtuouso Joe Cano as he seamlessly transitions from jazz to flamenco or rock. With nearly 3000 square feet of deck space, it is definitely one of the best places to have the opportunity to watch the breathtaking sunset as Maui end its beautiful day.

And while you are waiting for the sun to set, you can sit back and enjoy the delicious menu of mouth watering guava glazed baby back ribs cooked exhibition style, pan roasted marinated breast of chicken, garlic fettucini, warm artichoke dip with fresh garlic and parmesan, island fresh overn roastee vegetables, seasonal fruit platter and decadent desserts. The Impeccable Pride of Maui Sunset Cruise also has a fully stocked premium open bar featuring four select regional wines, blended drinks, lava flows, pina coladas, margaritas, martinis, mixed cocktails and imported beer.
What a great way to end the day. Good food …. Excellent company …. And a beautiful sunset. You can’t expect anything less. After all, The Impeccable Pride of Maui has over 30 years of experience in these oceans!

Thanks for dropping by!
You have such a way with words. While reading it I could literally picture myself in that picture. I would love to be their right now that is for sure.
I have always wanted to do this ever since I first heard about how wonderful these kinds of cruises are. I have a feeling that the sunsets in Hawaii are a little more spectacular than other places.
And a dinner cruise… well that would be absolutely relaxing and memorable. I wanna go!
You know Sharon, I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise to just about anywhere but I have this very huge fear of the ship doing a titanic on me and the fact that I can’t swim doesn’t help one bit … LOL!
I can’t swim either… but there are a lot of great new rules about stuff like enough lifeboats since 1912.
Man, with all that good food and drink, I don’t know if I would have any time to come up for air!
I really cannot wait to go on my first cruise. I would absolutely love to go to Hawaii. I also have a fear of boats, however, so might be hard to actually get me on the ship.
I would love to go on a cruise! I have never been, we plan on going when our little ones are a bit older. My best friend was in Hawaii this past New Years, she said it was incredible.
I don’t mind boats, so it’s never been a problem. If you have trouble with small boats, chances are that a huge cruise ship wouldn’t cause much stress… it’s a totally different experience.
My husband gets sea sick. Does anyone know if it is better on a cruise ship then a small boat? That is one of the main reasons we haven’t done a cruise yet.
You know, tater, I am not sure. It may have to do with the length of the trip or how far you go into the ocean. But if the water makes you queazy, then you will probably get sick no matter what.
I have heard of people having success wearing sea-bands. They apply pressure to a pressure point on your wrist. They are helpful for morning sickness too.
Tater03, I was daydreaming when I wrote it.
So, really, I was there. Mentally….
Katharina, you and me both.
I should just put an advertisement that says *hire me, willing to work for free in hawaii*.
Nick, LOL! They have muster drills now that shows you were you need to go when ship evacuation happens. And they have those big lifeboats now that can fit hundreds of people so you don’t really have to worry about having to swim it to shore anymore.
Katharina, I agree with you. Going on a cruise definitely gets better all the time.
And the food! Well….. I diet to go on a cruise, then I diet when I get back.
Jewel, I love Hawaii so much. It is probably one of the most beautiful state I’ve been to because of the dense forests, natural resources and culture.
If you move to Hawaii, you’ll learn really quickly to get over ships or boats because that is the only way you can move from one island to another…. unless of course you take the plane, which is more expensive.
EviesEarth, if you have kids, then you can take them with you!
You should wait until the cruiselines come out with *kids go for free*. Carnival, NCL and MSC has these specials all the time. You just have to wait for them to come out and grab them right away before they go.
Katharina, I know, cruise ships just get bigger and bigger and bigger.
Internet sucks though
Tater03, with the new technology available now, you will rarely feel that you are out in the big ocean on a cruise ship.
However, if you’ve never been and would like to try cruising out…. you should request a cabin that is midship *middle of the ship*.
Trick-r-treat, I get motion sickness but cruises don’t bother me unless there’s bad weather.
