Thanks for dropping by!
I completely forget these were on last night. I love to watch the red carpet the most. I just like to see the clothes and jewelry everyone is wearing. Bummer, I cannot believe I missed it.
It is probably a much needed escape for many viewers. I used to watch awards shows but when I thought about the money that went into them I sort of lost my taste for them. LOL
THe red carpet was probably the highlight of the evening. The show was okay but i’m sure alot of the celebs were lookin forward to the after parties.. Oh the Good Life.
Diamonds Rock the Stage at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards…
The music industry’s powerhouse elite stepped out in their finest attire to the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards where Diamonds hit a high note and dazzled on the red carpet. The big Diamond trends of the evening were bold Diamond Studs and Diamond Drop Ear…
I didn’t watch the awards, but I sure enjoyed reading this report. I’m sure I’d be constantly looking over my shoulder if I’d wear something like *Fergie’s half million dollar Cartier!
hurrah for Kanye West!!! woot! and I do have a comments feed… click the “comments feed for this post” just before the comments… hehehe… I am not that techie so sorry for that one…
I did watch some of the red carpet and a bit of the show/awards. It was ok. I used to watch it more when I was younger. I just like to see what everyone is wearing.
So what did you guys think of the song Amy Winehouse chose to sing? Considering she is in rehab I would have thought that she would have picked a different one beside the song about her not wanting to go to rehab.
I watched just a small portion of the Grammys, not much though. I thought that Amy Winehouse’s choice of song was fine. I mean, that’s the song people know her best by.
I think the song was fine but just really thought she might have picked a different one just because she is in rehab. Just seemed weird to me.
I saw a clip of Natalie Cole tsk-tsking Winehouse’s win saying that it teaches kids that bad behavior is rewarded.
I thought her music talent was being rewarded, myself… LOL!
I hadn’t seen that yet. I agree that she should have definently won the awards. She did have a great year music wise that’s for sure.
Isn’t it all about the glitz and the glam? If you got it, flaunt it!
I thought Beyonce looks amazing. I enjoy watching the Bling, the outrageous numbers they step out in.
I thought it was highly hypocritical to hear Natalie Cole’s comments about Amy. Not a fan of Amy myself, but supposedly she is trying to clean up her act, and Natalie’s “been there”, so seemed like a double standard to me!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Beyonce when she *didn’t* look amazing.
I didn’t hear Natalie’s comments, but… yes, it kind of sounds a little hypocritical if that’s what she meant.
Tater03, that’s all I watch the awards for! The clothing, the bling and the arm candies.
And it has nothing to do with who wins what.
SageMother, if everybody donated a piece of the bling they wore to the awards, I’m sure it can feed a whole third world country.
Lina M, how come we are never invited to come take a peek at the after parties?
Katharina, if you were wearing Fergie’s bling, you would probably have to look over your shoulder for me.
Because I would do *anything* to have that bling if I was around…..
I know. I do have psychotic tendencies once in awhile.
Janus, for awhile I really liked Kanye West. But then his music started to sound the same to me…..
But he does wear his bling very nicely.
EviesEarth, to tell you the truth. I really didn’t get a chance to check the show out this year.
I usually like just seeing the pictures anyway, and you can get a lot of that on the net.
Tater03, I actually didn’t get to catch the show so I didn’t see her perform.
Ironic isn’t it. I guess that is her way of rebelling against the world. But she better smarten up or she’s not going to wake up one of these days….
Jewel, I’ve seen her perform live several times and she is quite entertaining to watch.
I really love that song!
Tater03, I don’t think anyone would want to hear Amy Winehouse sing anything else.
Wasn’t she nominated for that?
I just think that the only reason she did that song was because it’s her “best” one in terms of what people know.
SageMother, isn’t that just about sums up all of hollywood ?
Trick-r-treat, exactly! I’d like to have two of what they’re having *please*.
LOL.
Samantha, Beyonce looks so fab. And she looks so skinny at the same time.
Wow, time really has changed her image and she’s still as hot as ever.
What will it take to be invited to wear the same bling?
I do understand why she sang the song just seemed weird to me that is all. Wonder how she is doing now? Hope she is beating her addictions.
I really don’t know how she’s been doing lately, I think she’s still trying to beat her addictions. Is she still in rehab?
Katharina, I’m not really a big fan of Natalie either, so it really doesn’t matter much.
There’s always too much bickering when it comes to the competition.
Beyonce really has moved up in the world. All that fancy diamonds. Wow…. I’d like to spend a day in her shoes. Preferably on a day that she has to make a red carpet attendance!
