The truth is, everything Jessica Simpson sells – from her old fashioned red cowboy boots to the yummy ex Nick Lachey – and becomes a buzz. Her empire includes a line of hair and beauty products, a deliciously kissable fragrance line for women, a sexy shoe collection to die for, and platinum music albums. People Magazine, Maxim and AskMen.com are just some of her biggest fans that sees the perfection that she is.
Jessica, however, will be the first one to tell you that she hasn’t always been. “My mom was really worried I’d grow up looking strange, so every night before I went to bed, she’d pull my legs and stretch them so they’d be in proportion with the rest of my body.” There was also that time when she “had doors slammed” as a 14-year-old because her image too curvaceous for the christian music scene.
In 2005, Jessica Simpson became the celebrity face of Proactiv Solution, a revolutionary acne skin care system that helped her fight breakouts and get a clearer skin while on tour.
“I just had so much build up and so many clogged pores that once I started using Proactiv Solution, my face was just shining. Looking back, I can just see how much I’ve grown and actually I know it sounds weird and crazy, but Proactiv had so much to do with it just because when, your confidence is fixed, everything else shines. I’m passionate about Proactiv because it worked for me and it gave me so much confidence. Today I can tell you that I’m a very confident woman because I love my skin.”
Since then, Jessica has been an avid spokesperson for the company reaching out to millions of people who suffer from uncontrollable blemishes. This is her way of saying *it’s okay because I have the same problem too*.
She’s not the only celebrity who has hitched their bandwagon into getting star quality skin with Proactiv either. Super Divas like Vanessa Williams, Jennifer Love Hewitt, P. Diddy, Serena Williams, and Elle Macpherson all know that it’s not rocket science to get beautiful skin….. Because, as Jessica says, *it’s just a three step process*. If she can do it, so can you.
And as I break open the Proactiv Solution package that came for me in the mail this morning, I know that not only am I getting rid of my ugly adulthood acne, I am also doing it for just $40 every two months. Considering that’s about a fourth of what I usually spend on a monthly basis, I can’t believe the price tag of having fabulous skin is so relatively cheap.

Jessica Simpson Sexy Celebrity Skin…
Ever since the emergence of *Miss Jessica* in the entertainment world, she set out to conquer the unforgiving world of Hollywood. Today, she is one of the most enviable startlets to ever grace our ipods, the celebrity media and ….. let’s not forget…
I was watching a tv program the other day about how stars are more ‘brand’ aware now and create themselves as a brand so they can sell almost anything if it has their name or picture on it.
truth be told, I’d buy something if it had her picture on it!
Andy Bailey’s last blog post..Beginners AJAX. Tutorial series. Part 1
There was also that time when she “had doors slammed” as a 14-year-old because her boobs *36DD* were too big …
Jon’s last blog post..I Almost Let You Go
I noticed the bikini picture reveals that she’s no teeny tiny waif of a gal. Looks like she’s going for the healthy look all over.

I think bodywise she is just right. She is not stick thin but in no way overweight. By any chance though has anyone used this product?
I used Proactiv last year, and I really liked it. I stopped using it because I just didn’t have the budget for it anymore, but it worked really good for my face. Great stuff! I especially liked the repair mask that you leave on for like 10 minutes. It works great!
Thanks, I had heard that it is exspensive. I am glad to hear that it works though. The worst is when you pay a lot of money for something and it doesn’t work.
Did you look at the ingredients? You might be able to blend something similar on your own to beat some of the cost.
Also, what other skin care products have you tried? You might find some of the same ingredients in less expensive skin care line.

Andy, it’s good that they are breaking barriers and crossing over into territories they normally wouldn’t be in.
I think Jessica Simpson has done a great job branding herself and keeping her image squeaky clean. She had a slow start though, but she’s looking like she’s planning on staying.
Jon, Jon…. If only Salma knows what you talk about when she’s not around!
It can give a girl a serious complex, you know.
I don’t believe I SAID anything. The smile that you witnessed was me mocking the seriousness of that quote. It was hilarious! It’s pure BAIT, I tell you! Chalk it up as a misunderstanding of my interest in various puerile advertising techniques.
why… you didn’t think?!!? **GASP**
Jon’s last blog post..Happy Birthday, Amazing One
Jewel, I actually was a big fan of Proactiv sometime in my 20’s. My sister bought it for me for a year as a birthday present.
Afterwards, I just never bothered getting it for myself because, I think, you had to call in to purchase it instead of having the ease of ordering it online.
Yes, it is kind of difficult to re-order, even now with the internet so easy to use. You have to call and talk to a machine and a person, just too much work for that amount of money.
Tater03, Proactiv is actually a lot cheaper than most products out there.
The daily wash program I was on before costed me about two and half times more than Proactiv.
Proactiv just works so much better!
SageMother, definitely, if you know how to blend the products than it would be much more cheaper.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to do that, but I can never seem to get the right combination of creams and oils.
Jon, ha-ha-ha! Bait it definitely is….
Why do you think it was written in? I’m actually surprised I didn’t get more hits.
Jewel, so what kind of facial products to you like and use?
Please, please, please do a follow-up post after you’ve been using this stuff for a month or so. I’m actually thinking about getting this stuff, but I don’t know…
I’ll be interested to hear your results.
cardiogirl, this stuff really does work.
I’ve been using it for awhile. This actually I believe is a post I made sometime last year when I re-ordered my stuff.
Have you tried it yet?
I am curious to know what the active ingredients in it are. I too have heard of others having great success with it.
EviesEarth, you can probably visit Proactiv’s website to take a look at the ingredients.
I am living proof that Proactiv is fantastic for all ages. I’ve been breaking out all my life and Proactiv is the only one that works without drying my skin.
It is really worth it. And it’s cheap. I pay about $40 every two months and I don’t seem to use it up before the next set comes.
It definitely does work for some people, as long as you use it regularly. Right now I’m using Neutrogena, but would switch back to Proactiv if I wasn’t too lazy to order it again.
Jewel, I also like Nuetrogena. It’s one of the brands that do actually control my breakouts.
I found a problem usin it in the summer time because it would dry most of my face. Do you also have the sam problem?
