“We want to be her. Beauty, brains, achievement, and most importantly confidence,” affirms Pamela Onyekaba, an anthropology major from Nigeria who befriended Ndoema on Facebook after discovering that the former Parisian catwalk model not only possesses two advanced degrees in international law and speaks six languages, but also served as legal council to the Tibetan government in exile and as a United Nations field rep in the mine-strewn wastelands of Mozambique, where she was personally responsible for one of the most successful repatriation efforts in UN history.
“She’s an amazing person,” chimes Sabine Fichter, an aspiring actress from Germany who appears alongside Ndoema in “I’m Not Britney” with a battalion of young women representing countries from Taiwan, Cameroon and India to Poland, Czech Republic and the US. “She stands up for what she believes in, tries to put that out there and help people stand up for what they believe in. And I think that’s amazing.” Etsuko Hashimoto from Japan sums it up. “She’s going to make a big wave in the world.”
A visit to THEGLOBALGIRL.COM confirms this prediction. Ndoema’s self-created website plays host to “I’m Not Britney” and the “I’m Not Either” campaign, with pictures pouring in daily from around the world, featuring like-minded followers proudly emblazoning personalized posters from Ndoema’s performance.
“It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that Hollywood is losing its allure,” purrs Ndoema with her intoxicating accent. “People are over the stereo-hype. They’re in search of higher ground.”
That it comes packaged with supermodel looks and a revolving wardrobe that would make Coco Chanel drool doesn’t exactly hurt. “I’m Not Britney” alone features sixteen wardrobe changes in under three minutes. “Yes, it’s a gown every ten seconds. What can I say? Who doesn’t crave a touch of glamour with their girl power?”

Thanks for dropping by!
While I admire the stance these brainy beauties have taken, Britney and others like her, are not part of Hollywood. They are part of the music industry. The music industry has always encompassed a wide range of lifestyles, personalities, and performance styles.

Hollywood in general, def. bores me lately. The younger actresses are really running to wild for my tastes.

SageMother, I think the meaning of *hollywood* has changed over the years.
Nowadays, basically, hollywood is anyone who gets slung around on the gossip rags.
3Plus3, I know it bores the heck out of me too!
And to think, that I started The Diva Network as a celebrity blog.
I’m glad I’ve come a long way.
Tom, Merry Christmas to you too!
You know you are always welcome here.
Kris, I guess the wave is quite powerful because teens and young adults just want to be different nowadays.
But I’m not really sure how different she really is considering all the expensive wardrobe changes in one video. Okay, so even the Devil Wears Prada I don’t think even had these many designer wardrobe changes.
agreed. the message is starting to point in a different direction, even if costuming is still involved.

Kris, so which brings me to my next question -
How different is she really?
Well, so maybe her multiple degrees make her a little bit more smarter than the rest and she probably doesn’t have to pay anyone to *babysit* her.
