Just imagine sitting at the infinity-edged pool with cabanas watching life go by as you chill after a long day of work, sipping margaritas, getting a tan and rubbing elbows with the beautiful people that’s so distinct of Miami.
Afterwards, maybe go for a romantic stroll around the condominium’s private marina, or perhaps have dinner at a restaurant on the water edges of Biscayne Bay.
And…. for the last thirty minutes, I have been searching the web for a real estate agent in Miami to negotiate this penthouse for me. MiamiCondoLifestyle.com has pre-construction prices listed for the Oasis on the Bay Condos – Uptown Miami Bayfront Luxury Condos between $310,000 to $660,000. It comes with all the eye candy and whip cream – a large health club and spa, 4,200 square foot restaurant on Biscayne Bay, clubhouse and marina with twenty boat slips, 24-hour concierge and valet, lushly landscaped pool and sun terrace, private theater room with stadium style seating and surround sound.
I’m really not kidding when I say that *wow* this property is cheap. I didn’t know that the housing market in the United States has reached this all time low!
The condo I recently purchased in the burbs *an hour and 15 minutes away from anything significant* costed me somewhere in between, and unless you consider the flooding that’s been going around here because of the heavy rain, this is no beachfront property. Real estate has skyrocketed in Vancouver into something quite unbelievable. Downtown condominiums as cramped as 500 square feet are selling for $400,000 and ones over 1000 square feet are close to a million dollars, if not more. Even residents in the Lower Mainland that have cash to burn are not setting their sights on purchasing a house in their lifetime.

This place looks very very romantic. I would love to stay there, but will probably never have the money to stay there.
Now this is an awesome condo. It does seem cheap for all that you get but still way, way out of my pricerange. But that always seems to be the case.

Your blog has a lot of readers, and maybe you want to tell them that right now in Miami and South Florida, the real estate market offers many interesting opportunities.
The next 6 months will be the best time in a decade to buy some real estate in Miami at bargain prices.
Thanks. Best regards.

That place looks absolutely gorgeous! I cannot imagine living there, let alone even visiting!
I generally prefer the Atlantic coast further north in Florida but these condos are magnificent! I could really start liking Miami, I do believe.
I can imagine several reasons they are cheaper than many. If i had enough money stashed to pay for one and leave a mortgage of about $100.00 per month, meaning HUGE down payment, It would be great investment property.
Yes, could you imagine the money you would make if you could hold onto it until the market went back up? This would be a great investment if you had the money and good credit to buy one now.
3Plus3, it just looks like a scene from CSI: Miami. I’ve always wondered if real places existed away from the studio set.
But, I guess it does.
Property is so very expensive here in Vancouver. It’s not even funny. For the same price as this condo in Miami, I can get me a 500 square foot living space downtown.
No comparison.
FD, thanks for the tip.
I just love Florida and with the real estate prices at such great rates, it is so hard not to want a piece of paradise.
Jewel, I know. I know. I am drooling. Makes me want to leave dreary weather and expensive housing to go slum with the Florida natives!
Katharina, the Atlantic Coast is always very nice. Anywhere you can see a beach, I’m up for it.
I’m sure there are comparable properties out there I can also drool in. How are the property properties where you live?
SageMother, isn’t that really just how it goes nowadays? Leaving a huge downpayment really saves you money down the line, if you calculate all the interests you’ve accumulated.
We placed a very, very big downpayment for our condo and we are saving additional money aside each month so when we apply for a re-mortgage we can put another 10% down which is the maximum we can put in.
It really seems heavenly to me…but so does the cost…even if it is low from the past….
