You lucky people! I’d LOVE to go to some country where there are huge Christmas discounts like the USA. Paris would be terrific!
We don’t celebrate Christmas in my country, so no real discounts here, just touristy-prices.

And oh my god, my husband is preparing for the Black Friday Deals that usually go with US Thanksgiving. My sister and him are going to cross the border to camp out at Best Buy.
Not at all, Sharon! But we have many other religious celebrations, during which we bake a lot of cookies, buy new clothes (especially for kids) and visit family and friends.
I can’t imagine having a celebration (in our cultural context) in which I’d give gifts to every member of my family. We are a huge family. That can turn into a burden instead of a joyful celebration, LOL!
Your husband and sister are really going to camp out at some store? Oh my!
I hope it’s fun though.
Oh, I just remembered! We have a celebration that’s exclusively for kids. It’s in a few weeks. They get to have a lot of toys that day. Nearly like Christmas, hmm! But the adults get nothing, not even cards.
