Megan Fox Transformers

Growing up in the 80s, I have always been a big fan of Transformers. Life was so simple back then. I only had homework to worry about and my biggest dilemma was how to get the cute guy in school to notice me …. and kid shows were really kid shows - none of that general audience bordering PG13 crap that I sometimes catch while flipping channels nowadays.

I finally got a chance to watch Transformers, the movie, over the weekend and I am definitely giving it a Diva High Five. Being a movie buff and not a big fan of Director Michael Bay (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Birds and The Amityville Horror), I was really worried that he was going to *butcher* the tv series that I had very fond memories of. To my surprise, I didn’t expect the *American Pie* meet *Transformers* storyline and for most part, I was laughing hysterically throughout the movie at the hysterics of the Autobots. It was like watching the original tv series all over again. You want them to kick some serious Decepticon asses and it takes you through the high and low emotional rollercoaster that goes with rooting for the home team.

It also helps that the movie is just filled with some serious eye candy - Megan Fox, Rachael Taylor, Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel (which by the way, is the number 1 prerequisite to having a top box office hit). Along with the movie being babe bountiful, *everywhere you look, it’s raining GM.* You can tell that General Motors got their money’s worth for sponsoring the film. The company even has a new website Transformers: Rise of the Chevy Autobots that features seven Chevy vehicles that transforms into Autobots (I smell a sequel, don’t you?).
