This is a picture of Britain’s Royal Grandchildren taken during the parade procession at Prince Charles and Camilla’s wedding – pictured from left to right are Prince William, Prince Harry, Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips.
Last weekend Buckingham Palace announced the betrothal of Peter Phillips to a canadian girl, Autumn Kelly. Eventhough Peter Phillips could possibly still be one day King *he is 10th in line for the throne*, he was actually born a commoner. His parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, for one reason or another refused peerage for their two children Peter and Zara. In this instance I’m not sure if *father knows best* but it has kept him out of the spotlight compared to his two cousins William and Harry.
This gorgeous hunk of man *People Magazine named him “sexiest royal” in 1998* actually works for a living. He’s currently making his way up the carreer ladder working for the Royal Bank of Scotland. Oh my…… Autumn is really one lucky lady!
*I’ve always fantasized marrying a prince, so I am green with jealousy*
Since he’s the Queen’s favourite grandson, you can expect his wedding to be the talk of the town! He might be commoner, but he still has blue lineage running through his veins.
Then there were three …..

Heh, I’ve always had a crush on Prince William myself. I’m not sure what is up with him now…him and girlfriend Kate Middleton parted, but are now together again (supposedly).

I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to wait for your parents to die to do your job! I know I probably won’t live to see either of Di’s boys become king, so I guess I better enjoy them as they are!
That’s true I never thought about that either. But I personally like you will probably not see William ever become king either.
I want to see Prince William and Kate betrothed. I think she’s perfect for him, and very attractive in a non-conventional (relative to what’s considered beautiful by today’s standards) way.
As fun as it may be to entertain the fantasy of marrying into royalty, and as far as they’ve come to remove some of the staid social conventions that are associated with royalty, I still wouldn’t want to move in their circle. I think they are hyper judgemental (by nature of the beast in terms of what’s expected of them and by them of others)so proper it would be difficult to be laid back! Stifling!
However, their net worth I would welcome any day.
Well, I’d love to live through the coronation of William myself. I think Kate and William are also perfect for each other. I am not much into the royals *except when they get splashed on the gossip mags* so I havent kept up with the break-up. What’s that all about anyway?
Personally I couldn’t stand all the so called “rules” if you married into the royal family. I just don’t think that I would in anyway fit in. That and I know I wouldn’t care to be in the spotlight.
I don’t think the “rules” would bug me as much as the “stuffiness”.
If I were younger, William would be my pick. He’s the best looking, and, of course, he’ll be king some day!
I do hope he and Kate work it out! A beautiful couple!
Of course, Flights of Fab Fashion Fancy, you’ve got to go for the guy that’s destined to be king
I do not think it is a bad decision really to raise the children like a commonor…helps them stand on their feet as we say…and if someday he does become a king…he will be more grounded with reality….
Atula, lol! Royalty and commoner really have nothing in common. I doubt if they’d even begin to understand how it is just to be one of the *regular*joes.
It is every girl’s dream to become a princess, but the reality is pure hell. Remember how Princess Diana fared.
Both of Princess Anne’s kids have turned out well. Unpretentious and grounded with a strong sense of duty. Like their mother really. Anne is my favourite Royal. Zara, was very supportive of the young princes when Diana died, and both of them think a lot of her and Peter.
I’m not sure I could handle that public scrutiny for every move I made… so if I’d be royalty or marry into it, I’d much prefer the branch that has been raised as commoners.
