Amidst the big hype of the upcoming U.S. release of Hairspray and an all star cast, it is good to know that newcomer Nikki Blonsky will be able to hold her own standing beside fashion divas Michelle Pfeiffer and Amanda Bynes during the premier of the movie taking place tomorrow, July 10th, in Los Angeles.
A spokesperson from IGIGI has confirmed that Nikki Blonsky will be wearing a couture gown designed by founder and designer Yuliya Zeltser. “The clothing fits really well. It is almost like it is custom made for everybody who wears it. It is gorgeous but it is also very comfortable so you can look pretty but be comfortable at the same time, says Nikki. “I wanted to wear this dress because the premiere is in L.A. and it is going to be one of the biggest premieres of the year, certainly one of the most important premieres of my life, so I wanted to wear something beautiful that shows off my curves in a classy and glamorous way.”
As all IGIGI designs are created with the goal to celebrate the beauty and sensuality of the fashion loving curvaceous woman, I am sure that Nikki will be a bright star to watch out for at the premiere!

I know! Could she be the next Jennifer Hudson? Just the star line up for this movie is a must watch this summer.

Me too! I am a big fan of John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer and Amanda Bynes. Nikki has already been nominated for an MTV award for Hairspray already.
It’s good that the big world of entertainment take chances on new talented stars! I mean, to have John Travolta to play your mother! What could be better than that?
I cannot wait to see this movie. I think they have a great cast and this one will be one not to miss. I wish I could go to the red carpet but alas it is not to be.

Filling the shoes of Rikki Lake might be a daunting task, but I am sur she will bring a fresh approach to the Hairspray role.
I’m really looking forward to seing this. I loved the original but this is one of those shows where a remake just gives you more scope for the imagination.
I had no clue that they gave passes out like that? I just always assumed they were given to the stars. I would be game in a heartbeat to go.
It’s because I have journalistic media access and I can get a media pass for the red carpet events. Since I live in Canada, it takes too much time and energy to take time out to be part of the paparazzi….. Oh well, maybe sometime I’ll get correspondents instead.
