Kelly Rowland has been busy promoting her second break out solo album entitled “Ms. Kelly” released earlier this month.
The former member of Destiny’s Child was in Lagos, Nigeria last Sunday taking part in ThisDay Music Festival along with other r&b legends like P. Diddy, UB40, Shakira and Rihanna when she collapsed on stage in the middle of performing “Say My Name”.
Her official website has confirmed that Kelly was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital for check up and is “doing just fine” after the dehydration scare. She is expected to fly back to the US today to continue her promotional tour.
Celebrity gossip is buzzing about this smelling like a publicity stunt … or an eating disorder problem.

I had not seen or heard about this yet. I hope that she is fine and that it is just dehydration. I think it is rather sad that they are already saying that it is something else before they really know anything.
Either way, collapsing onstage mid-song isn’t exactly a good sign of health. I just hope that Kelly gets the help she needs to ensure she stays healthy.

tater03 and FourBear, there’s just too much pressure to be the “it” celebrity of the moment, and it could be a lot of things. But Nigeria is really, really hot …. Who knows.
I agree that it is a sign of not being healthy. I just meant that I hope that it is not an eating disorder that caused her to collapse.
