After a little bit of rummaging, I have realized how much of a pack rat I am. I do not ever throw anything out. In fact, I just enjoy making what’s old, new again. It’s a habit I’ve picked up from my mother (the original diva, did I say?)
I have so many clothes and every season, I just add more, and more, and more. There are even some items that hanging in my spring & summer wardrobe in the closet that still have price tags on them. No …. there is nothing wrong with these clothes, I just never got a chance to wear them before winter set in. And we are just talking about articles of clothing, we haven’t gotten to discussing my shoe collection!
Anyway, my honey and I have just bought a really nice condo and I know I won’t be able to bring all of my *precious* clothes with me. So, I have decided that I must make a list of which ones I can bear to part with (no! no! no!) and sell them online.
Ebay charges a listing fee and if I listed every single piece with them, I’ll go broke! I was considering giving them all away until I found The Personal Closet googling. All listings are free and it’s great because I don’t want to feel the pressure of making sure everything sells to recover the cost of selling!
I should have most of my stuff listed in the next week or so, and feel free to bid on some really nice designer brands, okay?

Thanks for link! My own closet could definitely use a good decluttering. I don’t know why I accumulate so many pieces that I don’t even like.
I am on the opposite end of the spectrum…I need more clothes!…but appreciate the link just as much. I bet I’ll be spending endless hours browsing that site.
I am so bad about parting with clothes I no longer wear. If I force myself to have a sort out maybe I can reward myself by buying some new clothes.
I think everyone of us has those special clothes which we may have worn just a couple of times but it is still there in the closet…i beleieve giving these to someone you really like may help part with it..hoping that it will be worn by that needy person…
I appreciate the link. I am not very good at parting with my clothes, but I find that if I pack them up and store them for a few months I prove to myself that I don’t really need them and then I am able to get rid of them.
justontime, one thing I’ve learned from my husband is that everything is recycable. Every six months or so he goes through his clothes and then sells what he knows he’s never going to wear again on the net.
At least, you got some money back to purchase more clothes?
