So what does this mean for the ultra male metrosexual population? Just say goodbye to all the dark circles around the eyes, blemishes, and those nasty shaving nicks! M Cover comes to the rescue!
“NEW Clinique Skin Supplies for Men M Cover is a revolutionary corrector that can hide a multitude of sins. This new concealer is formulated to cover efficiently and effectively while providing all day coverage. Created specifically for men’s skin, M Cover blends effortlessly for a natural look that won’t dry out during wear. Equipped with ingredients to help soothe, moisturise and keep skin feeling and looking comfortable, this concealer will help to keep flaws and dark spots undetectable.”
This is such great news for today’s modern man. After all, women are not the only ones who have problematic skin or get eye bags. These can look as unattractive on a man as they are on a woman. The bottom line is, men are not impervious to having bad self image… And it did not take long for cosmetic companies to realize a new market - moisturizers, eye cream, facial scrubs, and manicure sets! Just For Men.
The best thing is that they don’t have to dip into our own cosmetic case! Men will now feel more comfortable going to a make-up counter and asking the same questions we ask all the time - “I’m looking for the right color for my skin tone”, “Is this hypo-allergenic?” or “Have you tried this product before?”.
This is a great step for mankind, and I’m all for it!

Thanks for dropping by!
Well, men in the film and music industry are already wearing makeup. I don’t think it’s that shocking that male makeup would come out now, but I also don’t think it’s going to be so popular with “regular” guys.
Jewel, you never know! My husband is a tech geek and he is such a walking fashion disaster.
But, he has more expensive facial products than I do and he takes more time (and anti-wrinkle creams) making sure that his skin is nice and smooth.
Go figure. He would be the perfect candidate!
I can see having facial creams and such, but I think makeup is quite a bit different.
I think I would be a bit scared if my SO started wearing makeup. I agree that the creams are a good idea though.
I would agree that I am sure that this will sell to some men but don’t foresee it being bought my your every day male. I least not mine.
I don’t know about this… one part of me says “aw, why not?” but the other part just isn’t ready for that like I’m sure many guys won’t be.
I think they should (and many do) take care of their skin with skin products, though.
Jewel, you would be so surprised at the demographic of men that are interested in it.
This article has so much hits from really interesting keywords like *makeup for men to conceal acne* …..
EviesEarth, good think he’s not dipping into your cosmetics then :0
I’d be quite annoyed and then petrified if mine did!
I know I get super annoyed when he uses my facial creams.
Tater03,
I don’t think men will ever need cosmetics to the extent that we do.
Real men do not wear make up, unless your a nut hugger, celebrity, meterosexual or, worse, a self-conscious yuppie who lives in an overpriced condominium somewhere in the downtown core of city.
Katharina, LOL!
Now, I’m going to have to check out every guy that I talk to. Just in case they need some pointers on how to blend it properly.
[...] and greatest things about being a Diva. And to further agitate my senses, she also wrote up an interesting article about ”Clinique Skin Supplies for Men”. Check out the marketing statement for this so-called cosmetic line for d00ds. “NEW [...]
Lem, that doesn’t even necessitate a response…..
What are you doing here anyway?
Personally, i just cant see men a nd make up together…groomig oneself is ok…but putting on the lip colors and rouge and mascara or whatever is a bit too much….
It wouldn’t make me find my man more attractive, I think I would feel a bit uncomfortable about it, but it is his face he must do what feels right to him.
