“Imbibe has a great reputation in the beverage industry, which is why we’re working with them,” said James Costos, vice president, Licensing & Retail at HBO. “We believe fans of THE SOPRANOS will greatly enjoy the sodas.”
“Our job was made a little easier by choosing flavors that are already well-known and well-liked as Italian treats all over the world,” said Andrew Rashkow, President of Imbibe. “And when you add to the mix a quintessential name of a beloved show like THE SOPRANOS, we just had to make sure to deliver truly refreshing and great tasting sodas.”
As THE SOPRANOS comes to conclusion on HBO in June, the series will continue to live and have even further exposure on the A&E network as well as DVDs. “One of the main reasons Imbibe was excited to partner with HBO is their continued commitment to promote THE SOPRANOS off-channel,” Rashkow shared.
THE SOPRANOS Old Fashioned Italian Sodas are now shipping to grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores as well as select sandwich shops and restaurants across the country. Based on the recent product reviews the sodas received on bevnet.com, a beverage industry website, they are sure to be a “hit.”

There is a little coffee shop near us that sells Italian sodas but I haven’t seen this one there yet. I will have to look. I would probably buy it for the bottle and the label for display and leave the soda intact.
