A brainchild of Australian Designer, Aheda Zanetti, the Burqini has made it’s debut on the beaches of Australia. It is the modest version of the swimsuit and the muslim’s woman answer in keeping their bodies fully covered from head to ankle during physical exercise and swimming.

It is sometimes very hard for us to imagine the difficulties of being in a religion that imposes strict dress codes, unless you are in one. With the creation of the Burqini, Muslim girls no longer have to pass up participating in recreational sports. They can take an active role in school activities and going to the beach with their family and friends.
